About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and refine detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D
Transform survey data into accurate, high-quality plans
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and design coordinators
Prepare complete drawing packages for client submittals
Ensure drawings meet client specifications, design coordinator instructions, industry standards, and client standards
Contribute to innovative design solutions
Help deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD Certification, or equivalent prior work experience
2–4 years of experience in the design and drafting field
Some Utilities industry knowledge
Proficient in AutoCAD, including X-Refs and understanding coordinate systems
Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry such as Gas Distribution Systems and/or Compressor Stations preferred
Basic knowledge of advanced CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Civil 3D preferred
Excellent communication skills
Organized and able to stay on task and complete projects within budget
Detail oriented for producing a high-quality package
Self-motivated
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, high-quality drawings and collaborating effectively with the team
