About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on Envato’s core app to help creative professionals find, generate and refine assets
- Take ideas from early concepts through to polished customer experiences
- Shape creative workflows for adapting stock video or graphics with AI, maintaining consistency across generated shots and sequencing video clips
- Make creative capabilities easy to discover and use with minimal complexity
- Prototype ideas quickly using Figma, code, motion and AI-assisted tools
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to influence product direction
- Evolve Envato’s visual language with the Product Visual Lead and other designers
- Work alongside engineers during implementation, writing code and resolving visual and interaction details
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong visual design craft, including typography, composition, hierarchy, motion and interaction
- Understanding of UX fundamentals and product design principles
- Ability to explain design rationale and visual decisions
- Interest in and experimentation with AI, prototyping, design-to-code or other emerging creative tools
- Ability to share unfinished work and incorporate feedback
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and product teams
- Submit something built using AI and something demonstrating visual craft
- Include contribution, tools used and key design details in the application
- Product, client or independent experimental work accepted
- No specific years of Product Designer experience required; work shown and design judgment prioritized
