About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work within Envato’s broader GenAI strategy, owning a defined product area and taking initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration
- Understand customer problems, explore product opportunities and identify where generative AI can improve creative workflows
- Use customer research, product data, experimentation and hands-on GenAI knowledge to decide what to build, test, improve or stop
- Experiment with emerging models, use AI to explore concepts and prototype ideas, and understand model capabilities and limitations
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to turn ideas into high-quality experiences while balancing creative quality, customer experience, model performance, reliability, scale and cost
- Define success measures, analyze customer usage and continuously improve products based on evidence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Product Manager who has owned complex customer-facing product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration, ideally in SaaS, technology or AI
- Strong practical fluency in generative AI and generative media
- Understanding of models, APIs and emerging capabilities sufficient to work closely with technical teams
- Comfortable using AI to prototype, explore and test ideas
- Interest in creative professionals and how creative work happens
- Understanding of the difference between impressive AI demos and useful professional creative-work outputs
- Experience with creative products or tools particularly valuable
- Ability to turn customer, technical and commercial information into clear priorities and product decisions
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make trade-offs and work autonomously
- Ability to communicate clearly, build alignment and collaborate across Product, Design and Engineering
