About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the preparation of test documentation in accordance with quality standards.
Write detailed test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
Identify relevant test scenarios from functional and technical specifications.
Implement automated tests where appropriate and perform manual testing when necessary.
Contribute to the product verification strategy within the assigned scope.
Work closely with software analysts to confirm the expected product behavior.
Clarify requirements and implementation details with the development team.
Perform integration, functional, system, and regression testing.
Ensure the quality, completeness, and maintainability of the tests performed.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and practices.
Track defects clearly and participate in their investigation with the software team.
Provide guidance and support to Level 1 testers when needed.
Lead the verification phase within the defined scope and ensure activities are completed according to schedule.
Work under the supervision of a manager or test lead.
Contribute to projects involving Windows applications, software frameworks, embedded systems, communication gateways, or software/hardware integration.
Potentially work on products or instruments used in medical procedures, in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of experience in software testing, software verification, or software quality assurance.
Experience designing and executing tests based on product specifications.
Experience with test automation is preferred.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Strong ability to analyze functional and technical specifications.
Ability to identify, design, and document test cases based on requirements.
Good knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies.
Good understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
Functional and technical understanding of the product under verification.
Ability to write clear and structured test documentation.
Proficiency in Python for test automation, testing tools, and data analysis.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools.
Ability to investigate issues and perform root cause analyses.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Thoroughness, autonomy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
