About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide white-glove L1-L3 IT support while sharing the support queue
- Design self-service workflows and L1 bots to eliminate repetitive tickets
- Administer Identity Providers for secure authentication and SSO
- Build automated, zero-touch onboarding and offboarding pipelines
- Engineer Mobile Device Management platforms
- Enforce endpoint security postures and build zero-touch provisioning
- Partner with the IT Manager and Security team on infrastructure scaling projects
- Respond to incidents and roll out new security initiatives
- Engineer automated IT workflows that support SOC 2 and PCI compliance
- Make foundational architectural decisions defining the company’s security posture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep understanding of SSO, SAML/OIDC, directory services, and lifecycle management
- Experience with Identity Providers such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, Ping Identity, or JumpCloud
- Understanding of zero-touch deployment and endpoint compliance
- Experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or Workspace ONE
- Strong proficiency managing macOS and Windows endpoints
- Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN architecture
- Experience or strong desire to learn APIs, integration tools, or scripting
- Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Ability to provide L1-L3 IT support
- Ability to work in a hybrid role in the Austin area or relocate to Austin within 2-4 weeks
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
