About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain services supporting Digital Rights Management work on social media platforms
Make content claiming and safelisting smooth and secure
Guide the technical direction of customer-facing services
Monitor and optimise services that fetch and analyse data from platforms such as YouTube
Own services end to end, including infrastructure and monitoring
Collaborate with data and machine learning engineers on related pipelines and models
Use AI coding tools to direct and review code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Backend development experience
Experience with Go, or strong experience in Kotlin, Java, or Python
Proficiency in SQL for data processing and integration tasks
Experience processing and evaluating large volumes of data
Cloud experience, preferably Google Cloud Platform
Experience building microservices, event-driven or request/response
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
Experience in algorithm evaluation, including testing and analysis of outputs
Fluent English, written and spoken
Experience with high-availability systems and complex partner API integrations
Experience meeting requirements of integrated platforms
DRM experience is ideal, or experience in a similar field
TypeScript and React experience is nice to have
Familiarity with audio formats, codecs, or streaming is nice to have
Exposure to machine learning systems in production is nice to have
