About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment on mobile road calls and in-yard service
  • Deliver prompt, professional service and clear communication to keep customers moving
  • Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
  • Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment for safe, reliable performance
  • Document work through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
  • Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers
  • Mobile repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CDL preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment
  • Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation
  • Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Experience with welding a plus
  • Self-motivated and independent mindset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Your own tools
