About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles at customer locations
  • Conduct oil and filter changes, lubrication services, fluid checks, inspections, and other routine maintenance
  • Inspect vehicles for potential safety and mechanical issues and communicate recommended repairs
  • Perform basic diagnostic and repair services as qualified
  • Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and customer documentation
  • Build strong relationships with fleet customers through professional and dependable service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked mobile service vehicle
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT and workplace regulations
  • Manage daily service appointments and communicate professionally with customers
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to company standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in automotive, fleet, diesel, or preventative maintenance preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance
  • Experience servicing commercial or fleet vehicles preferred
  • Experience with light-, medium-, or heavy-duty vehicles preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic maintenance and service-reporting systems preferred
  • Relevant certifications, such as ASE certifications, preferred
