Code, test, analyze, and review code for accuracy, functionality, performance, and security
Drive the Software Development Life Cycle, define sprint goals, ensure operational stability, and lead product launches
Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers
Communicate strategic technical plans and solutions to executives, cross-functional teams, and clients
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other teams to align technical solutions with business and regulatory objectives
Document architectural designs, create developer guides, and ensure knowledge transfer through comprehensive documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent
7 years of experience working as a Java developer
6 years of experience in Java Enterprise software development
5 years of experience in Java and JVM memory and performance tuning
Mastery with Lambdas, Generics, and data structures such as Map, List, and Set
5 years of experience in Spring Framework or equivalent
5 years of experience in commonly used Design Patterns and advanced algorithm design for high-throughput systems
4 years of experience in concurrent programming for real-time transaction systems
4 years of experience in Hibernate or equivalent JPA frameworks, optimizing query performance
4 years of experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL, and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB
2 years of experience ensuring compliance in software development
3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring engineers in a fintech environment
