About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own capital relationships across both branches of the firm
- Provide buyer and capital coverage on sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates
- Lead capital formation for VC funds, independent sponsor deal equity, and SPV syndication
- Cover institutional allocators, direct-investing family offices, RIAs, and advisor networks
- Build the firm's wealth channel
- Build senior relationships across allocators, family offices, and RIA and advisor networks
- Run raises for funds, sponsor deals, and SPVs from positioning through close
- Support M&A mandates with live buyer and capital intelligence
- Formalize partnerships with RIA firms, broker-dealers, and advisor networks
- Educate advisors and investors on private markets structures and economics
- Source mandates into both branches
- Partner with Finalis on compliance, onboarding, and Regulation D requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- FINRA registration through a broker-dealer, or sponsorable within 120 days
- 5+ years in capital formation, LP coverage, placement, or alternative investment distribution
- Verifiable capital relationships you can activate on day one
- Direct experience raising private markets vehicles
- Command of fund and sponsor economics: carry, waterfalls, hurdles, promote, side letters
- Fluency in Regulation D and accredited investor standards
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
- Preferred: transferable RIA book, prior platform or approved-list experience, buy-side M&A exposure, cross-border experience, Spanish or Portuguese
