About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and maintain the Jira kanban board, keeping tickets organized, clearly described, and appropriately prioritized with engineering leads
- Triage product enhancement requests and customer-reported defects, gathering context for engineers
- Use AI to write structured user stories and acceptance criteria translating business needs into engineering tasks
- Coordinate with engineers to track progress, surface blockers, and move items through AIDLC stages
- Participate in requirement-gathering conversations with product managers and stakeholders, capturing decisions and open questions
- Draft functional specifications and supporting documentation for product features using AI
- Support basic testing by reviewing completed work against acceptance criteria and flagging discrepancies
- Contribute to improving AIDLC processes and team ways of working
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have completed a Bachelor's degree within the past two years, OR be in the final year of their degree program and eligible for apprenticeship participation
- Have no more than two years of professional work experience
- Be legally eligible to participate in an apprenticeship program in India
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to organizing information
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Curiosity about how software products are built and willingness to ask questions
- Familiarity with project or task management tools; Jira experience is a plus
- Proactive mindset and ownership of work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical skills, including assessing AI outputs, identifying limitations or risks, and recommending improvements
- Understanding of AI fundamentals, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, automation workflows, and responsible AI principles
- Experience using AI tools for research, data analysis, content creation, or workflow automation through academic, personal, or professional projects
- Ability to build and demonstrate an AI agent
- Ability to evaluate AI-driven product opportunities, gather feedback, and translate it into feature recommendations
- Exposure to agile or kanban workflows is nice to have
- Basic understanding of software development concepts is nice to have
- Prior internship, project, or coursework related to business analysis, product management, or software delivery is nice to have
