About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the Chief Operating Officer
Own how AI is used across the full implementation lifecycle: requirements analysis, use case definition, configuration, integration, and testing
Set the approach for AI use in requirements analysis, use case definition, OIPA rules and configuration, integration, and test case generation
Turn identified AI ideas into tools, techniques, and rollout-ready playbooks across services and regions
Identify cost-effective AI innovations for implementations, especially configuration
Build an AI governance framework covering approved tools, output review, and mandatory human sign-off
Drive and track the 25%+ effort-reduction target across Equisoft/manage and Carbon implementations
Develop reusable AI-assisted workflows for OIPA rules, complex SQL, user stories, and automated test cases
Select and/or develop delivery tools, including MCP integrations with Atlassian and Azure DevOps
Maintain AI practices as models and tools change; retire ineffective approaches and scale successful ones
Deploy standards and playbooks across USA, Canada, Caribbean, LATAM, EMEA/APAC, and the India Global Capability Centre
Train delivery leads and practitioners on approved tools and workflows
Adapt rollout plans to regional maturity and workload
Audit project teams against AI standards and correct deviations
Report compliance and effort-reduction metrics to delivery and executive leadership
Own data handling and intellectual property risk for AI use on carrier-confidential project data with Information Security
Coordinate with regional delivery VPs, enterprise AI, and IT teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in enterprise software delivery, with meaningful time developing systems using AI
Direct experience across requirements analysis, use case definition, configuration, integration, and testing
Track record of introducing AI or automation into a delivery organization, not just piloting it
Experience leading initiatives across distributed, multi-region teams
Strong organization and prioritization
Ability to influence and drive adoption across regions without direct reports
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate, write, synthesize information, train and coach practitioners
Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
Life and annuity insurance domain expertise (nice to have)
Experience with AI tooling in software delivery, including LLM-assisted code and rule generation, automated test generation, and MCP-based integrations (nice to have)
Experience standing up AI governance frameworks in regulated or carrier-confidential environments (nice to have)
