Key responsibilities & impact

Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables
Identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
Develop, document, and maintain functional test plans and test cases
Execute and evaluate test cases and report test results
Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
Liaise with development, project management, and customers on quality, project scope, and deliverables
Identify potential quality issues through defined processes and communicate through appropriate channels
Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate in an Agile environment with software developers, architects, and project managers
Own quality assurance at every stage of the delivery process

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive related work experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in one of these fields plus three (3) years of related work experience
Three (3) years of experience leading a team of quality assurance specialists in quality assurance processes
Three (3) years of experience with Life Insurance and Annuity Business processes
Three (3) years of experience with relational databases and SQL
Three (3) years of experience participating in the full lifecycle of a project
Three (3) years of experience working in an Agile environment
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience accepted
Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
