About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain core financial services licenses, including Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health
  • Learn Equitable’s comprehensive financial planning philosophy and approach
  • Develop knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth-building solutions
  • Join the Branch Assist team and work directly with existing Equitable clients
  • Help clients position and optimize current investments for long-term financial goals
  • Support clients with life events, transitions, and changing financial priorities
  • Spend up to two years working closely with 10–20 successful Financial Professionals
  • Support advisors by engaging with clients and helping drive business efficiency and growth
  • Collaborate directly with clients to advance their financial objectives
  • Receive training in client prospecting, relationship development, face-to-face client meetings, client seminars, and business expenses and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates strong foundational skills and a commitment to growing your career in financial services
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 active registrations
  • State Life Insurance licenses
  • Proven experience in building and managing customer relationships, with a focus on trust, service excellence, and long-term engagement
  • Prior sales experience preferred, ideally within financial services
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
