About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and track the technical and regulatory aspects of PV + BESS hybridization projects
- Liaise with local, regional, and national authorities to monitor project status
- Contact landowners affected by projects
- Track and monitor payments and manage documentation required for notarization and Property Registry submission
- Support due diligence processes, M&A, and negotiations with clients and investors
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical, legal, and financial teams
- Participate in project development from site origination and land acquisition through achieving Ready-to-Build (RTB) status
- Support construction and commissioning phases when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in renewable energy project development
- Demonstrable experience in BESS and hybridization projects (PV + BESS)
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Electrical, or similar)
- High level of English (essential for interacting with lenders and international counterparties)
- Solid knowledge of the Spanish regulatory framework applicable to renewable energy projects (grid access & connection, administrative procedures, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in project finance processes and liaising with financing entities
- Knowledge or experience in the construction phase of PV plants and/or BESS
- Involvement in technical due diligence processes (project M&A/transactions)
- Experience in Data Center development
