About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead delivery of complex site investigation, remediation, contaminated land, and environmental construction projects
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement across global project teams through best practices, technical innovation, and quality review processes
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on environmental risks, liabilities, and regulatory challenges
  • Collaborate with regional teams to support efficient, scalable project execution across multiple geographies
  • Mentor and develop consultants, project managers, and technical specialists
  • Support business growth through technical thought leadership, proposal development, client engagement, and innovative solutions
  • Design, review, and oversee remedial solutions for contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and other affected media
  • Lead technical reviews and quality assurance across site investigation and remediation, brownfields redevelopment, risk assessments, sediment management, portfolio and reserve assessments, DDD, remedial alternatives analysis, pilot testing, and environmental construction management
  • Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, quality, and client expectations
  • Support regulatory evaluations and remediation strategies under local, national, and international frameworks
  • Work with ERM teams across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other global regions
  • Support proposals, technical inputs, solution development, client presentations, strategic pursuits, scope development, pricing, and capture efforts
  • Build stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to expand services
  • Delegate assignments, support professional development, and contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training, and capability development
  • Champion ERM’s health, safety, and sustainability culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or related discipline
  • 15–20+ years of experience in environmental consulting, site investigation, remediation, or contaminated land management
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of remediation technologies, environmental risk assessment, and contaminated site management practices
  • Proven ability to develop technical solutions for industrial, manufacturing, energy, technology, infrastructure, and oil & gas clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical professionals and lead delivery teams
  • Strong experience of working at leadership levels in a GCC kind of set up, liaising with stakeholders Globally
  • Experience with international environmental regulatory frameworks and standards, either working directly or in consulting capacity
  • Recognized technical expertise in remediation, contaminated land management, risk assessment, or environmental engineering disciplines
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-region client programs and portfolios
