About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee all demolition projects for ERM France SAS, from planning through project completion.
  • Manage planning, scheduling, budgets, resource allocation, and work execution.
  • Develop and implement demolition plans, work methodologies, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE/QHSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture on worksites.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee the selection, procurement, and maintenance of demolition equipment and materials.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor project performance, and prepare progress reports for management.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead, support, and develop project teams, including site managers and demolition operators.
  • Ensure proper waste management and recycling of materials generated by demolition activities.
  • Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, public works, or a related field.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience managing demolition projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of demolition techniques, specialized equipment, and applicable regulations, particularly French regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE/QHSE principles and practices in the demolition sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, demolition certifications, or site safety certifications) are a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly to various sites across France.
