About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and oversee environmental data systems such as EarthSoft EQuIS, Locus EIM, and similar platforms
- Integrate and QA/QC laboratory, field, and historical data for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with analytical laboratories to ensure timely and accurate Electronic Data Deliverables
- Design and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and EQuIS Enterprise
- Develop and maintain queries, functions, views, and stored procedures for reporting and troubleshooting
- Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling to evaluate environmental impacts and forecast trends
- Produce borelogs and geological visualizations using gINT, LeapFrog, RockWorks, and EnviroInsite
- Design and implement migration of historical data into enterprise systems
- Lead multiple projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Collaborate with project teams on sampling campaigns, deliverables, and data reporting
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients and support proposal development
- Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to ERM technical communities
- Facilitate communication among field teams, laboratories, data validators, and GIS analysts
- Lead meetings and deliver presentations to internal teams and clients
- Drive development of new data services and automated workflows
- Support project planning, budgeting, risk management, conferences, publications, and client events
- Continuously improve environmental data management workflows, reporting frameworks, QA/QC processes, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 8–12 years of experience in environmental data management or consulting
- Advanced proficiency in EarthSoft EQuIS, including Collect, SPM, Edge, ArcGIS, EnviroInsite, and ArcEQuIS
- Experience with Locus EIM and related environmental data systems
- Experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate
- Experience with geological visualization tools and GIS platforms, including EVS, Leapfrog, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with SharePoint, MS Project, Python, R, and KNIME
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor teams in a collaborative, client-focused environment
- Experience supporting global environmental consulting projects and teams
- Experience with RockWorks, ESDAT, ENFOS, Power Apps, and automation tools preferred
- Ability to develop SOPs, process maps, technical standards, training materials, and documentation
