Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide mining, energy, and environmental stewardship projects from proposal development through final report completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage environmental scopes of work
  • Translate client goals into actionable project plans
  • Design schedules, manage budgets, coordinate logistics, and deliver defined scopes of work
  • Communicate with clients to understand objectives and steer technical teams toward solutions
  • Escalate project risks as appropriate
  • Support health and safety planning and execution
  • Manage multiple deadline-driven projects independently
  • Lead routine client communications
  • Follow ERM governance throughout project delivery
  • Track budgets, complete invoicing, and apply financial management processes
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Support proposal development and cost estimation
  • Compile, review, and contribute to technical data analysis and report preparation
  • Coordinate subcontractors and associated logistics
  • Plan and coordinate fieldwork schedules
  • Build collaborative relationships across ERM teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines
  • Experience in the mining and/or energy sector
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage environmental scopes of work
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with internal governance and direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
  • Competence with change management, risk management, quality management, and financial tracking
  • Financial literacy, including budget tracking, cost forecasting, invoicing support, and understanding project financial performance
  • Valid driver’s license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Must be able to work without immigration sponsorship
  • 6+ years of consulting experience preferred
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, including dependencies and critical path, preferred
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet preferred
  • Experience managing environmental, regulatory, permitting, and/or field programs preferred
  • Field data collection experience preferred
  • PMP or related certification is an advantage
  • Bilingual English and French and/or Spanish is preferred
