Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape and deliver complex environmental projects across mining, energy, renewables, municipal, and environmental stewardship sectors
  • Guide projects from proposal development through final report completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality project outputs
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans for schedules, budgets, logistics, and defined scopes
  • Lead routine client communications to clarify needs, objectives, and progress
  • Manage project controls, including budget tracking, cost forecasting, invoicing, and financial performance
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
  • Support proposal development and cost estimation
  • Identify and support business development opportunities
  • Build and maintain respectful relationships with Indigenous partners, Indigenous-owned businesses, clients, and local stakeholders
  • Translate partnership objectives into practical project delivery, local participation, and capacity-building opportunities
  • Ensure strong health and safety planning and execution
  • Manage multiple deadline-driven projects and assigned scopes
  • Compile, review, and contribute to technical data analysis and report preparation
  • Coordinate subcontractors and associated logistics
  • Plan and coordinate fieldwork schedules
  • Build collaborative working relationships across ERM teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines
  • Experience in the mining and/or energy sector
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage environmental scopes of work
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with internal governance and direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
  • Competence with change management, risk management, quality management, and financial tracking
  • Financial literacy, including budget tracking, cost forecasting, invoicing support, and understanding project financial performance
  • Ability to support business development, including identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and building client relationships
  • Experience working respectfully and collaboratively with Indigenous partners, Indigenous-owned businesses, or community-connected organizations
  • Valid driver's license and/or ability to operate a vehicle
  • Preferred: 6+ years of consulting experience in environmental or related technical disciplines
  • Preferred: Experience supporting capacity building, Indigenous participation, or partnership-based delivery models
  • Preferred: Experience developing and managing project schedules, including dependencies and critical path
  • Preferred: Experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
  • Preferred: Experience managing environmental, regulatory, permitting, and/or field programs
  • Preferred: Field data collection experience in wildlife, terrestrial ecology, soils, wetlands, aquatic biology, or hydrology
  • Preferred: PMP or other related certification
  • Preferred: Bilingual in English and French and/or Spanish
