About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, design, permitting, and construction of site civil and remedial engineering projects
- Contribute to renewable energy installations, electric transmission and distribution facilities, and site remediation projects
- Produce construction drawings, technical specifications, calculations, permit applications, and contract documents
- Support project controls and management, including scheduling, cost estimating, labor resourcing, and progress tracking
- Prepare site civil designs covering earthwork, site grading, access roads, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management
- Prepare land disturbance, construction stormwater, land use, and related construction permit applications
- Conduct field investigations, construction oversight, and quality assurance activities
- Evaluate field data and prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, schedules, and progress tracking reports
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and project managers across disciplines and geographies
- Participate in global multidisciplinary projects and a center-of-excellence engineering team
- Develop innovative designs and oversee implementation
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (preferred)
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in place or eligibility for certification
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
- Strong verbal, written, and computer skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, scheduling, and construction management (preferred)
- Exposure to consulting or construction-related project environments (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of global, multidisciplinary project teams
- Willingness to perform fieldwork
