About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver hands-on support to clients implementing EHS programs and strategies
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, observations, audits, and assessments
  • Investigate incidents and recommend or ensure corrective actions
  • Collaborate with global teams on hazards, chemical management, industrial hygiene, and related solutions
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted extension of clients’ EHS teams
  • Provide onsite client support for EHS challenges
  • Review regulatory requirements, identify compliance gaps, document findings, and support corrective action planning
  • Perform safety process improvements in behavior-based safety, chemical and lab safety, electrical safety/NFPA 70E, industrial hygiene, robotics safety, process hazard assessments, and LOTO
  • Assist with developing and implementing HazComm, IIPP, PSM, and other programs
  • Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related science OR equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in EHS compliance
  • Ability to travel across the Puget Sound area, including occasional overnight stays and/or daily client site visits
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams
  • Valid driver's license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
  • Preferred: experience with tech, bio-pharma, or manufacturing industries
  • Preferred: professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM
  • Preferred: knowledge of Washington-specific EHS regulations and best practices
