About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process with the production unit, acting as a Finance Business Partner
Analyze and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for reduction and optimization
Develop and implement financial plans that support operations
Support feasibility studies
Prepare detailed financial reports presenting results and cost projections
Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to costs
Monitor the monthly close process
Prepare management presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience in financial planning, preferably in the mining, agribusiness, or heavy industry sectors
Advanced knowledge of cost analysis, budget control, and accounting
Advanced English proficiency
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of Power BI and artificial intelligence
Ability to work with large volumes of data and perform complex analyses
Proactive approach and effective problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel to sites in Mato Grosso, Bahia, and Pará
