About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the global standard process design for end-to-end logistics, from inbound/goods receipt to warehousing, outbound order fulfilment, returns, and scrapping/write-offs
Own business requirements and target concepts across WMS and SAP S/4HANA, aligning with technology counterparts
Establish the PO/goods receipt clearing concept, including tolerances, partial deliveries, and variance logic
Implement standardised inventory accuracy processes, including cycle counting and adjustment workflows
Define clear returns disposition logic
Govern the hybrid logistics network across internal sites and external 3PL partners, managing interfaces, SLAs, and performance
Track and optimize logistics KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, return cycle times, and scrap rates
Maintain high data quality
Drive change management and process adoption across warehouse operations and 3PL partners
Resolve cross-functional roadblocks with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance
Align with adjacent Global Process Owners and the Transformation Office on cross-functional interfaces

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep expertise and extensive experience in warehousing, logistics, and inventory management in an FMCG, food, or dietary supplements environment, spanning both owned and 3PL-operated networks
Hands-on experience with a WMS and a solid working understanding of SAP MM / SD logistics execution integration
Strong command of goods receipt and PO clearing logic, cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes, and reverse logistics management
End-to-end process mindset connecting procurement receipts, manufacturing hand-offs, planning targets, and financial write-off processes
Seniority to manage 3PL partners alongside internal warehouse operations
Strong change management skills and willingness for regular on-site presence at logistics sites
High level of initiative and strong communication skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud logistics transformations (MM/SD/EWM) and carrier/freight management is a major plus
Fluent in English and good German skills
