About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the rolling 2–3 year transformation roadmap for processes, data, and systems
Take end-to-end ownership of Finance & Controlling processes, from financial close to costing and intercompany accounting
Turn function-by-function activities into clear, connected processes with one accountable owner
Lead the community of Global Process Owners and set a shared agenda for cross-functional improvements
Drive automation, digitalisation, and smarter use of data to replace manual and spreadsheet-based workarounds
Pressure-test process and systems architecture against growth plans, including new brands, markets, channels, and M&A
Establish governance to prioritise, sequence, and fund transformation initiatives
Build and mentor a high-performing team of process owners and subject-matter leads
Partner with the CFO and executive team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
10+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
Several years leading global finance process design in a multinational, multi-entity organisation
Expert knowledge of FI/CO processes, including Record-to-Report, close, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, profitability analysis, and costing
Proven track record of defining and delivering multi-year transformation roadmaps in a scaling organisation
Hands-on experience with modern ERP platforms, e.g. SAP S/4HANA
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Experience in a Global Process Owner or comparable process-ownership model
Hands-on, structured, and comfortable with ambiguity
Fluent English
German is highly desirable
IFRS knowledge and FMCG/consumer goods experience are a plus
