About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate research initiatives into specific, actionable project plans with RPI teammates
  • Manage full project life cycles, including scope, resources, risks, issues, and timelines
  • Drive multiple concurrent research and process-improvement projects across the RPI portfolio
  • Apply and continuously refine project management best practices and tools
  • Track and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and resolve conflicts
  • Interact effectively with all organizational levels, from individual contributors to executives
  • Exemplify ESO values and lead by example
  • Report to the Portfolio Director, EPMO, while receiving day-to-day assignments from the Vice President of Data Strategy and Research

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of research and what it takes to go from concept to publication
  • Continuous improvement mindset and awareness of emerging project management and data practices
  • Familiarity with project, process, stakeholder, budget, and risk management
  • Ability to execute commitments in ambiguous and changing environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly and remain effective in new situations
  • Ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly
  • Experience with research, data, or analytics-driven teams is a plus
  • First responder, healthcare, or SaaS industry experience is a plus
