About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead electronic security systems design and engineering activities
- Develop engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and design packages
- Evaluate existing security systems and develop modernization solutions
- Perform site surveys and technical assessments
- Lead integration of access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercom, visitor management, and alarm systems
- Review compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), DoD, USACE, and industry standards
- Support testing, commissioning, acceptance, and turnover activities
- Provide technical leadership to engineering and installation teams
- Support root cause analysis and system troubleshooting
- Develop life cycle sustainment recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of electronic security systems engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise access control platforms, video systems, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience developing engineering design packages
- Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification, and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification
