About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and monitor budgets for corporate and institutional events and branded content projects, ensuring cost control and compliance with approved budgets.
- Track project revenue, expenses, billing, and P&L statements, analyzing results and profitability.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate, and monitor contracts, purchases, and payments, seeking cost optimization.
- Monitor scope changes, additional costs, and financial impacts throughout event execution.
- Prepare management reports and monitor financial KPIs to support decision-making.
- Perform project financial closeout and post-event analyses, and propose improvements to budgeting and financial processes.
- Partner with Events, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure project alignment and strong results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of financial management systems, Power BI, and project management tools.
- Knowledge of supplier negotiations, procurement processes, contracting, payments, revenue, and expenses.
- Knowledge of financial planning for corporate events and the preparation of performance reports and KPIs.
- Certifications in Financial Management, Controllership, or Event Management.
- Critical thinking and the ability to propose innovative solutions and ideas.
- Ability to work under pressure with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
