About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and operate AWS development, test and production environments
Automate deployments
Support secure access, monitoring, recovery and launch
Transfer operational knowledge to the client
Collaborate with the client's internal product, business project management, UX/design and English/French content teams
Provide clear documentation and support technical delivery and handover

Requirements

What you’ll need

AWS hosting, networking, storage, identity/access management and environment separation
Infrastructure as code, source control, CI/CD and automated security checks
Monitoring, alerting, logging, backups, restore testing and deployment rollback
Performance optimization, cloud-cost management, secrets handling and operational run books
5 to 10 years of experience
Must be available within a month
Must be located in Canada; contractor located in Canada or the USA is preferred
Must be available during standard EST business hours
Fluent spoken and written English required
Spoken and written French is a huge asset
