About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and extend the headless CMS with the client’s content and taxonomy leads
Deliver bilingual content structures, editorial tools and content APIs
Support media connections and content migration
Train content editors
Collaborate with the client’s internal product, business project management, UX/design and English/French content teams
Lead technical delivery and handover
Provide specialist involvement as needed
Produce clear documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Production experience with a modern headless CMS and its customization tools
Experience with structured content, taxonomy, metadata and English/French content relationships
Experience with editorial permissions, preview, approval workflows and publishing controls
Experience with content APIs, media integration, validation, automated tests and editor documentation
5 to 10 years of experience
Available to start within a month
Located in Canada; contractor in Canada or the USA preferred
Must be available during standard EST business hours
Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Fluency in spoken and written French is a huge asset
Relevant delivery experience, collaborative working and clear documentation
Nonprofit or education experience is an asset
