About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Quality team and work across all payment solutions (Acquiring, Issuing, Disputes, etc.)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, poker planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews and demos
- Collaborate with developers and Business Analysts as part of a continuous improvement approach
- Challenge specifications, acceptance criteria and User Story decomposition
- Take ownership of and improve existing test suites, including regression testing
- Define the test strategy and associated test data sets
- Write tests in Gherkin (Cucumber) and JavaScript automation functions
- Execute automated and manual test campaigns
- Track defects, raise alerts and maintain progress indicators
- Review the quality of test completion reports in Jira/Xray
- Perform tests related to cards, authorizations, multi-currency transactions and communication between terminals and banking processors
- Conduct UI tests using Cucumber and Selenium
- Perform performance testing with Dynatrace and YourKit
- Carry out technical testing involving Kafka, REST APIs and Prometheus metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Fluent French (C2)
- Professional English (B2–C1)
- At least 2 years of experience in test automation
- Initial experience automating server environments and CI/CD
- Contribution to the implementation or improvement of CI/CD pipelines
- Automation of server-side processes
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices
- Initial experience industrializing tests, particularly on the back-end component
- Proven proficiency in API testing
- Cucumber and JavaScript
- Node.js
- Integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines (XL Release or equivalent)
- Linux environment and containerization
- Cloud technologies
- Agile methodology and tools such as Jira (professional experience or dedicated training)
- Deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives
