About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support internal customers and tax advisory firms both on-site and remotely
Assess requirements and select suitable hardware and software from the predefined portfolio
Install, configure, and integrate clients, servers, networks, printers, and other IT components
Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support
Analyze incidents and develop fast, sustainable solutions
Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus protection, and access and authorization concepts
Manage Windows/Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Windows 365, IP telephony, and connectivity to the eurodata data center
Coordinate technical projects such as office relocations and fiber-optic and network connections
Document the systems and solutions under management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable IT qualification
Initial experience in system administration, IT support, or managing IT infrastructures
Basic knowledge of networking
Good knowledge of Microsoft environments, particularly Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online
Solid hardware knowledge is an advantage
Structured, analytical, and independent approach to solving technical challenges
Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
Class B driver's license
Willingness to regularly provide on-site customer support in and around Erfurt
Confident and professional demeanor
Effective communication with a variety of contacts
Ability to explain complex technical matters clearly and in a solution-oriented manner
Very good written and spoken German (C2)
