Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day, monthly, and quarterly international accounting activities
Manage US GAAP and statutory accounting and compliance for international Etsy subsidiaries
Own US GAAP reporting, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting
Manage local statutory compliance, audits, and preparation of financial statements
Perform monthly analytics for each subsidiary
Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, process reengineering, and adoption of AI-enabled tools
Partner with international business teams, SEC reporting, treasury, and internal payroll teams
Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly payroll
Report to the Senior International Finance Manager

What you’ll need

Professional accounting qualification: ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA or similar
Approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience in a similar organisation or environment
Strong financial accounting background
Solid understanding of accounting principles and their practical application
Experience working with ERP systems
Exposure to Workday is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks through to completion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build effective working relationships in a distributed environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
Interest in exploring new technologies and AI-enabled solutions
Candidates should live within commutable distance of the Dublin office or be able to travel occasionally if outside commuting distance
