About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently tackle well-scoped software engineering problems within team guidelines
- Deliver work and features to end users
- Contribute to team goals and broader product or system projects
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, cross-functional teams, and business partners
- Develop solutions that help sellers better run their businesses and remain competitive
- Develop high-quality software using performance monitoring, automated and manual testing, and observability tools
- Contribute across the full web application stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end technologies
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned or as business needs change
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of software engineering experience
- Experience operating in a full-stack environment
- Experience owning development of features end-to-end
- Ability to write understandable, testable, maintainable, and scalable code
- Experience running A/B tests
- Experience with data-driven decision making and experimentation
- Comfortable collaborating with Product Managers and Designers
- Excellent communication skills
- Alignment with Etsy’s vision, mission, and values
- Candidates prioritized within commutable distance of Etsy’s Mexico Office
- Remote candidates outside commutable distance may be considered case-by-case, with occasional travel to the office
