About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Department of Veterans Affairs Meds by Mail pharmacy program

  • Work under supervising VA pharmacist verification; make no independent clinical decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification OR National Healthcareer Association (NHA) pharmacy technician certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Ability to navigate pharmacy information systems and accurately complete electronic documentation
  • Ability to successfully complete required VA credentialing and onboarding
  • Ability to successfully complete required background investigation
  • Must live within 50 miles of Cheyenne, WY; Dublin, GA; Chelmsford, MA; Hines, IL; Lancaster, TX; Ladson, SC; Shawnee, KS; Murfreesboro, TN; or Tucson, AZ
  • Maintain all required certifications and credentials
  • Perform duties within the scope of Pharmacy Technician certification and applicable law
