About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and related DevOps tools
- Deliver, configure, and support REN environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, including OS, networking, security hardening, and application dependencies
- Manage containerized and Kubernetes-based deployments, including Helm templating, cluster configuration, and application operationalization
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana, ELK/EFK, Graylog, and Icinga
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Drive standardization, automation, documentation, and DevOps best practices across the REN ecosystem
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration in production environments
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automation of deployment workflows
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration (RHEL/Alma/CentOS), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS
- Proactive, automation-first mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and standardization
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies while working in fast-paced, production-critical environments
