About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor IT systems 24/7 using various tools; detect issues, troubleshoot, and escalate when needed.
Perform routine checks of system processes.
Monitor financial transaction flows from a technical perspective.
Investigate reported problems and manage incidents and service requests.
Coordinate with involved teams to resolve issues and keep ticket communication updated.
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Troubleshoot undocumented problems using experience and team support.
Submit and monitor end-of-day job streams.
Work closely with Visa, Mastercard, UPI, American Express, and their technical teams.
Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in IT or related field is needed.
Good general understanding of IT technologies.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system including Office package and standard applications.
Previous experience in Networking or Server environment.
Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Greek.
Eligibility to work in the EU full-time and permanently, without employer sponsorship.
Military obligations fulfilled (for male candidates).
Basic understanding of generative AI tools and their practical application in a business environment.
Attention to detail.
Analytical thinking.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Team collaboration and willingness to share knowledge.
