About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise and book complex incoming invoices (AP) and outgoing invoices (AR)
- Perform intercompany bookings for incoming and outgoing invoices
- Handle fixed-asset capitalization and depreciation
- Participate in and coordinate month-end and year-end closings, ensuring books are closed accurately and on time
- Manage ongoing reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany, subledgers, banks, accruals, and prepayments
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants
- Develop and maintain internal controls, promoting accounting excellence
- Cooperate with foreign partners and various departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- University or college degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably gained at a multinational company
- Experience with the Spanish market is an advantage
- Understanding of the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process
- Intermediate level of English and Spanish
- Hungarian is an advantage
- Strong MS Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
- Basic understanding of generative AI tools and their practical application in a business environment
- Ability to use AI responsibly while maintaining appropriate data privacy and quality standards
- Hard-working and can-do attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Result-oriented personality with a team-player attitude
