Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain applications according to specifications and technical best practices
Analyze requirements
Investigate technical solutions meeting requirements and standards
Assist the project manager with task definitions, estimates, and deliverables
Define and integrate technological components or applications
Assist with system deployment and configuration
Provide application support and investigate issues, including 3rd-level support
Develop and maintain Java-based applications
Support integration with existing platforms
Assist with system enhancements and optimizations
Participate in testing, debugging, and validation activities
Cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in IT or relevant discipline
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in IT
Minimum 1 year experience in Java application development
Minimum 1 year experience with relational databases
Knowledge of web standards, CSS-based design, and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge of REST and working with APIs, including developing APIs
Knowledge of issue-tracking and ticketing tools
Knowledge of application integration
Knowledge of database management systems
Excellent command of the English language
Experience with AGILE, Scrum or DevOps is a plus
