About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, operate, and troubleshoot enterprise network and network security infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement and support routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and network segmentation solutions
- Configure and support Application Delivery Controller (ADC), load balancing, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions
- Participate in infrastructure projects, network upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new technologies
- Maintain network documentation
- Support operational, security, and change management processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good hands-on experience with enterprise IP networking, routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.)
- Experience with enterprise networking and security solutions
- Good understanding of firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, high availability, and network security principles
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- CCNP Enterprise, advanced Fortinet NSE, and/or F5 professional certifications
- Experience with Fortinet security solutions and/or F5 BIG-IP platforms
- Experience with cloud or hybrid networking environments
- Knowledge of network automation and scripting, such as Python and Ansible
- Familiarity with ITIL, change management, and enterprise operational processes
