About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and implement secure, interoperable solutions using standard frameworks and design patterns
Integrate applications and infrastructure for scalability and efficiency
Develop vendor-agnostic data platforms for AI and machine learning workloads
Optimise multi-cloud environments for performance and flexibility
Design MLOps pipelines covering the model lifecycle from development to serving
Design security architectures aligned with risk-management strategies and regulatory data protection and security standards
Assess and optimise system performance and scalability using metrics and predictive analytics
Collaborate with AI developers, business analysts, and IT operations
Establish CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools
Ensure system integration and cross-platform compatibility through API design, interoperability testing, and benchmarking
Work in the Development team in close cooperation with a major client’s IT team

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in IT combined with at least 10 years of relevant IT professional experience
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration
Expertise in network architecture design, distributed systems, hybrid cloud solutions, and cluster-level network policies
Significant experience managing and optimising data-intensive distributed systems
Comprehensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and MongoDB
Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with load balancing solutions and caching technologies such as Redis
Knowledge of OWASP and SonarQube security and vulnerability scanning tools
Secure coding practices, encryption, and identity management
Profound knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and GitLab CI
Proficiency with Kafka and RabbitMQ
Proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Good knowledge of GitOps and ArgoCD
Familiarity with Ansible
Familiarity with AI-powered code assistants such as Amazon Kiro and GitHub Copilot
Excellent command of English
