About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate committee and subcommittee meetings end to end, including agendas, invitations, presentations, and minutes
- Provide administrative support across the team, including correspondence, scheduling, and data maintenance
- Maintain accurate lists and databases, and keep committee records up to date
- Coordinate scheduling and meetings at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR)
- Support programmes and initiatives for early-career members and on diversity, inclusion, and sustainability, from planning through to delivery
- Administer the Young Programme and the Green ID Certification, coordinating applications, records, and communications
- Support the Society's presence at external congresses, including preparing materials and on-site coordination, with occasional international travel
- Prepare presentation materials such as PowerPoint slides and factsheets, and assist with website updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education at high school level and/or university degree
- Excellent command of English
- German and other languages are an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace (particularly MS Excel and Google Sheets)
- Experience in administration, team assistance, association/non-profit work, event or programme coordination is an asset
- Outstanding organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Open, positive, and collaborative, with a genuine willingness to support colleagues
- Able to work independently while contributing to a closely interlinked team
- High level of stress resistance and resilience
- Willingness to travel
- Successful applicants must hold a valid work permit for Austria
- Successful applicants must be willing and able to commute to our office in Vienna on a regular basis
