About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze project data and create reports on Customer Care Organization performance
  • Monitor and analyze project costs, trends, schedules, commitments, budgets, and forecasts
  • Collaborate with Customer Care Management, Investment Planning, Operations, Contract Administration, Procurement, and Materials personnel
  • Ensure project budgets and schedules align with corporate goals and strategies
  • Support cost management at project and program levels, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Track Project Management compliance with Key Project Decision Documents, record management, and quality control protocols
  • Apply project analytics to describe, predict, and improve business performance
  • Recommend actions and guide decision-making through capital program management performance reporting
  • Ensure cost information is accurately coded and allocated to project budgets
  • Create accounting and project cost variance reports
  • Assist in developing and participating in customer care processes
  • Review and report on trends affecting project costs and in-service dates
  • Assess progress measurement and develop and update progress charts
  • Create and maintain project-level KPIs and project statistics reports
  • Establish new reporting formats and templates compliant with company and stakeholder requirements
  • Respond to emergency situations outside normal responsibilities, work hours, or location when assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree will be considered
  • MBA or equivalent education highly desirable
  • Three (3) plus years of related experience preferred
  • Experience exposure to Project Manager, accountant, or financial business analyst roles in a business managing large complex multi-year projects
  • Working knowledge of Oracle’s Primavera Unifier Project Controls highly desirable
  • Understanding of financial, accounting, business, risk, and project management theories and methodologies
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, risk management, project management information systems, engineering economics, capital investment analysis techniques, plant accounting, tax, and capital budgeting
  • Ability to monitor and analyze cost and scheduling information, provide forecasts, make recommendations, and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a third day determined by department needs
  • Ability to work up to five days in the office if needed

  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, self-reliance, and ability to lead and direct activities of others
  • Demonstrated high competence in past assignments
