About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support execution of multiple marketing programs, advertising campaigns and sales initiatives across the company’s three operating states
  • Ensure marketing activities are consistent with business branding, objectives and Eversource principles
  • Collaborate with marketing team members on marketing plans and campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers and other vendors
  • Oversee, with manager guidance, creation of collateral, press releases and case studies
  • Assist in planning and executing events, conferences and sponsorships
  • Participate in a continuous improvement team to facilitate departmental workflow processes
  • Perform additional duties as business needs dictate
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform Emergency Restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, work hours and location when called upon

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Business
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years marketing experience
  • Proficient/expert-level use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong desire to learn and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Previous Energy Efficiency program experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
  • Must be able to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Must be able to work up to five days in the office when needed or if policy changes
  • Must not require immigration-related sponsorship to start employment with Eversource
