About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and manage project schedules from initiation through closeout for Transmission capital, maintenance and distribution projects
Support Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Permitting organizations with resource-loaded schedules
Develop, maintain, analyze and manage project activities and resources
Establish, monitor and report cost and schedule baselines
Provide engineering and construction resource solutions to meet project objectives
Identify resource constraints and future resource demands
Communicate project status and resource loading to team members and management
Anticipate project plan changes and advise on impacts, conflicts and solutions
Expedite plan changes and coordinate resource reallocations
Evaluate functional department forecasts to support project performance
Develop alternative solutions for project impacts, resource constraints, schedule conflicts and cost overruns
Provide project planning, scheduling, project management and project controls consulting and support
Coordinate departmental activities to maintain schedule adherence
Prepare and facilitate weekly project status meetings and identify corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight (8) years of planning and scheduling experience required
Working knowledge of project management and scheduling techniques using Primavera P6
Strong knowledge or experience with Primavera P6 scheduling tool desired
Experience with Power BI, STORMS, Fieldnet and C2 highly desirable
Ability to use PC desktop applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent multi-tasking and detail-oriented skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a third day determined by employee and supervisor
Ability to work up to five days in the office when needed or if policy changes
Occasional travel to Eversource offices, project sites and contractor locations
Must be able to work emergency storm assignments as required
