About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise, coach, problem solve, and provide professional development to a team of Administrators
  • Handle customer escalations from initial contact through resolution, including project review and adherence to building science principles and implementation manuals
  • Collaborate with residential supervisors on consistent program execution
  • Oversee rebates for Home Energy Solutions 1–4 family homes and the Multifamily Initiative
  • Create applications, identify new energy-efficient measures, report on activities, and oversee rebate-processing vendors
  • Oversee residential project implementation to achieve energy-efficiency savings, budget goals, and performance metrics
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps advancing sustainable energy-efficiency practices
  • Develop creative solutions to opportunities, problems, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with marketing, internal management, and Eversource MA and NH Residential program leadership
  • Select and manage contracted implementation services and lead EECs to ensure vendor performance
  • Identify, promote, and administer innovative programs blending energy efficiency with other initiatives and state or federally funded programs
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Avangrid program administrators, including United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas, and Southern Connecticut Gas
  • Manage program budgets, develop forecasts, and track key performance indicators
  • Respond to emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, hours, or location when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Eight (8) plus years of experience, with knowledge of residential building systems
  • Strong knowledge of building science in homes and Home Energy Solutions & Home Energy Solutions- Income Eligible
  • Strong business and operations management skills, and analytical skills
  • Strong team and thought leadership skills
  • Proven success in developing staff through mentoring, education, and challenging assignments
  • Ability to interpret energy efficiency technologies and understand their application
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written correspondence and public speaking
  • Solid project management skills, including prioritizing multiple competing priorities
  • Goal and objective-driven, with ability to remove obstacles while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to approach improvement opportunities creatively and act on new ideas
  • Ability to plan and allocate resources effectively
  • Flexibility in responding to changing priorities and evolving demands
  • Relevant energy efficiency certifications desired (BPI, CEM etc.)
  • Must be available for emergency restoration assignments as required
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
  • Must work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, under current hybrid guidelines
  • Must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed or if policy changes
