About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap for the sportsbook frontend
- Translate company strategy, operator requirements, market trends, and end-user needs into product priorities
- Identify opportunities to improve sportsbook acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and user experience
- Balance reusable product capabilities with operator-specific and market-specific requirements
- Work with operators, commercial teams, internal stakeholders, and end users to identify product opportunities
- Analyze sportsbook journeys including event discovery, navigation, search, market selection, bet placement, betslip usage, live betting, promotions, and bet management
- Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
- Maintain the product backlog and prioritize initiatives based on customer value, user impact, commercial potential, strategic alignment, risk, effort, and technical dependencies
- Work with engineering, design, and QA through planning, refinement, development, testing, and release
- Lead or contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and product workshops
- Make product decisions, clarify requirements, identify dependencies and blockers, and accept completed work
- Act as the primary product contact for assigned sportsbook initiatives
- Build relationships with operators, platform teams, commercial stakeholders, engineering, UX, QA, delivery, and senior management
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, demonstrations, and roadmap discussions
- Define success criteria and KPIs for features and product initiatives
- Monitor sportsbook metrics and use data, feedback, research, and operational insights to evaluate performance
- Review features after launch and propose optimization opportunities
- Conduct competitor and feature-comparison analysis
- Support client presentations, product demonstrations, sales opportunities, and RFP responses when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least three years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a comparable digital-product role
- Experience in iGaming
- Experience working with cross-functional software-development teams in an agile environment
- Ability to translate business and user needs into clear, structured, and testable product requirements
- Experience managing product backlogs, priorities, scope, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence presenting product recommendations and reasoning to technical, commercial, and senior stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities
- Ability to understand technical concepts, frontend architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform dependencies at a product level
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent product and delivery-management tools
- Professional proficiency in English
- A degree in technology, economics, business, or a related discipline
