About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor the market and gather, analyze, and interpret information about the business environment to guide and support commercial decision-making
  • Develop a liquid fuels demand model for Brazil, focusing on the Otto cycle
  • Manage ethanol price, supply, and demand projection models
  • Monitor official publications, reports, and consultancy analyses to keep relevant teams informed about short- and medium-term industry trends
  • Formulate and implement improvement projects to increase model accuracy and anticipate trends
  • Support the business unit in its commercial decisions
  • Maintain and foster relationships with market institutions to benchmark projections and obtain inputs and references
  • Work with supply, demand, and pricing information for the Brazilian and global markets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Experience designing analytical models and tools for forecasting liquid fuels demand
  • Experience in companies operating across the fuel production and distribution value chain, preferably a fuel distributor focused on ethanol
  • Advanced English proficiency (assessed during the selection process)
  • Applied business statistics
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel and VBA
  • Power BI
  • Python
