Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor the market; gather, analyze, and interpret information about the business environment to guide and support commercial decision-making
Work with information on supply and demand balances and pricing in the Brazilian and global fuel markets
Develop a liquid fuel demand model for Brazil, with a focus on the Otto cycle
Manage ethanol price, supply, and demand forecasting models
Monitor market sources, including official publications, reports, and consulting firms, keeping relevant teams up to date on short- and medium-term industry trends
Design and implement improvement projects to increase model accuracy and anticipate trends, supporting commercial decisions
Build and maintain relationships with market institutions to benchmark forecasts and provide input to business teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed
Experience designing analytical models and tools for forecasting liquid fuel demand
Experience in companies across the fuel production and distribution value chain, preferably a fuel distributor focused on ethanol
Advanced English (assessed during the recruitment process)
Business-applied statistics
