About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and repair underground electrical infrastructure and equipment
  • Support underground communication systems, including leaky feeder networks
  • Conduct fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
  • Work on HV and LV electrical systems across site
  • Assist with shutdowns, installations and improvement projects
  • Contribute to equipment reliability and maintenance best practices
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and comply with site procedures
  • Support safe and efficient underground operations as part of the Electrical Maintenance team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Electrical Trade Qualification and NSW Electrical Licence
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry or a similar operational environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • HV Qualification highly regarded
  • A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Safety-focused electrician
  • Willingness to work a 4:3 or 7:7 roster
